Application area:
The DPU-10 level switch is designed to monitor the limit level of bulk products stored in containers.
Operating principle:
The fork of the sensor vibrates at its resonant frequency due to the influence of piezoelectric elements installed inside the housing. When the fork is dipped in or released from the monitored product, the amplitude of the oscillations changes, which is then detected by the controller. The controller then triggers an alarm signal and activates/deactivates the load connected to the contacts of the relay in the electronic block.

Installation:
The sensor is installed on the container’s body at the height of the monitored level. In this case, the plates of the vibration fork should be positioned parallel to the movement of the product. If it is necessary to monitor the level at a specific distance from the top of the container, an extension of the sensor’s working part is used.
