The BIT-256R unit is designed for collecting, preprocessing, and transmitting temperature values from thermal rods THR via radio channels to a PC. BIT-256R units can be interconnected into an RS485 standard information network and support the Modbus network protocol.
Up to 225 thermal rods can be connected to one BIT-256R unit (with a range of up to 300 meters, assuming no obstacles to signal transmission).
The maximum number of BIT-256R units in the temperature measurement system is 33. Each measurement unit is housed in a plastic enclosure with an IP66 protection rating.
