The BIT-12M unit is designed for measuring temperatures using TP-1M or TP-01M temperature probes with calibration characteristics of sensors 50M and 23, converting the temperature values to digital form, and transmitting them to a PC.
The BIT-12M unit supports automatic calibration functions, allowing it to account for changes in the connection circuits of the temperature probes that might affect temperature measurement. BIT-12M units can be integrated into an RS485 standard information network and support the ModBus network protocol. They are compatible with BIT-12D units within a single temperature monitoring system. Up to 12 TP-1M or TP-01M temperature probes can be connected to each BIT-12M unit. The number of BIT-12M units in the temperature measurement system can be up to 225.
